As a baby Nick would let this one Dragon crash on the floor under his crib, sometimes. She smoked cloves and whispered to him, “These shape-shiftin’ Romans, Nicholas, they got games.” Once Nick could walk, he lived in a hospital and witchy blue-breasted nurses taught him to fly upside and talk with his ear drums. They also taught him, “The Western European psyche is bifurcated and Yin-repressed so entirely it’s a vaporized mental illness for everyone to ingest into their DNA.” “But Nicholas,” they warned “Being right ain’t a fukin plan of action.”
Then the sun came up and put Nick on a very slow train running across The Veil. Across the Veil was a double system of prison preparation. One could choose to be mentally or physically incarcerated and Nick chose mental incarceration and was put on transport, relocation, to gladiator academies like Roman Catholic churches, high performing schools and Northwestern University as the process goal was to catapult his own sanity out to an impossible-to-reach distance. Luckily cocaine and jack daniels, eventually, gifted Nick a lottery ticket to the secretive rehab where, wouldn’t you know, the blue-breast witches had been waiting all along.
Two decades later Nicholas has learned to speak humbly to the blue witches on a daily basis. He’s been laboriously trained and led to an understanding of the true nature and guise of the opponent by them, and by James Lawson, Phil Stutz, John Taylor, Terri Gardner, and others. He is singularly focused on the danger of light blindness in himself, and the fallout of this for others. Nicholas understands how the shape-shifting phenomenon of ancient Roman gods and kings still do seduce the various hues and creeds of conquered humans into mindless imitation of their lore and worship of their golden hierarchies. Nicholas is a proud loser, passionately swinging from failure to failure indomitable and focused on his love for all, and everyone, of the other losers. Nicholas is become a dragon smoking and sleeping beneath other cribs of the clever. He is an eagle, named victory of the people, and learned to ride a bike at six years old and to tie his shoes at 5.
