Liza Cruzat
Actor – “Kamira” in The Darkness Goddess Revealed at The Hudson and The Actors Gang
Liza Cruzat is thrilled to be making her debut at The Actor’s Gang Theater in Culver City. She is a Chicago native, and proud mother of two (pretty much) grown daughters, Aliya, and Carley. She would rather be writing their bio – she is so grateful and proud of the ladies they’ve become. But here goes. Liza has been performing professionally since high school, on stage and film, and in fashion modeling. Her love of theater and performance was happily put on hold two decades ago to raise her two pumpkins. However, Liza is especially appreciative of past theater collaborations with Harry Lennix, as director, in Chicago productions of “St. James Infirmary” (Congo Square) and “Julius Caesar” (Black Ensemble Theater Company); and with Nick Ruddle, Court Theater Artistic Director, in “Two Gentleman Of Verona.” Liza has done film and TV and numerous commercials, and she was host of a lifestyle entertainment show in Chicago, “190 North.”
Still currently Chicago-based, Liza is a partner in “Local Edition” a luxury market platform supporting Chicago area local businesses. However, she is excited to be joining Raquel, Erin and Nick for the second time in a production of The Darkness!
