Iman is an anthropological archaeologist that conducts community based field research in Egypt, Ethiopia, Sudan, the Philippines, Cambodia, Belgium and Italy. Iman has conducted research projects examining the relationship between movement and landscapes, but is especially focused on the active deconstruction of Western colonial ideology in historical narratives. She is currently a doctoral student at UCLA.
