In 2019 Nick Gillie, Patrice Quinn, and myself embarked on, what to some may have seemed to be, an impossible journey. The solo show, Goddess Black, written and performed by Nick Gillie, directed by Patrice Quinn and myself, would launch us into a new and exciting orbit.

Goddess Black would become the film The Darkness, produced and directed by Hashim Williams. As we continue this collaboration with the founding of Black University, we have one humble intention:

To change the world.
